version 2.0 will be published soon

Version 2.0 of PyFreeBilling will be released soon.

The tasks to be carried out are as follows:

  • integrate translations (thanks to translators for finalizing their tasks)
  • update the dependencies
  • validate the installation documentation (I will make a new installation from scratch to make sure that nothing is missing) There is no more bug in the beta version.

For version 2.1, the work will be directed to the Kamailio server in order to free FreeSwitch some tasks and thus gain efficiency and simplify administration tasks.

Attention, the database engine will be PostgreSQL exclusively (the minimum version being 9.6). The supervision will be equipped with complementary tool. Finally, subscription management will be integrated. Other functionalities can be integrated according to the requests.

Traducing PyFreeBilling for 2.0

The 2.0 beta version of PyFreeBilling has been published. As there are new features, new sentences have to be traduced.

To be more effective, i migrate the traducing system to Transifex and invited the actual traducers to join the team. If you want to traduce or review, go here : https://www.transifex.com/celea-consulting/pyfreebilling/dashboard/ (The last service is no more in use).

For the time being, PyFreeBilling is traduced (totally or partially) in this different languages :

  • English
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Hungarian
  • Italian
  • Russian
  • Portuguese
  • Albanian
  • German

When a language is OK, i will integrate it in the coming release.

If you want to help traducing, this is the traducing website to do it (it is really simple, just to talk english and an another language).

2.0Beta release

The 2.0 beta version is ready for public tests.

Follow the installation documentation in the repo. I hope that everything is OK as i do not re-play a new installation process interely. (do not use the directory install, i will remove it. I have started a new repo dedicated for the script installation. There are 3 ones : mw-freeswitch, mw-kamailio and pyfbautinstall. Only the first one is tested and fully OK).

I precise as it is a beta version, it is not for production use.
